PHOTO: What our Saturday is all about at the Kellers this weekend.

Today is pretty much a day for us to catch up on rest, TV, and life. I’m hoping to catch the Indy Car race tonight, and that’s about it.

Big Memorial Day weekend for the Kellers

I had a fun conversation on the phone with my parents last night.  We were discussing arrangements to pick them up at LAX tonight as they traverse from the deep south of Buford, GA to make their first visit as Grandparents of Baby Keller.  I can’t wait to see their faces when they see the bundle of cuteness that God has blessed us with.

This weekend is also our the fourth wedding anniversary of Melisa and I, so there is much to celebrate this weekend.  Everyone tells me that I should cherish these early times with the baby, because he will grow up so fast.  And considering how fast four years have gone by since Melisa and I got married, I know they are right.

Rose Parade 2010

The 2010 Rose Parade was reasly good this year, although it can’t compete with the 2007 parade wit the Michigan Marching Band and the Star Wars marching band.

The Ohio State band was really good, even though I hate to admit it. Their marching was precise and snappy, and they sounded the best of all the bands.

It was fun to celebrate this new tradition for my fourth time. Here’s hoping that Michigan’s band makes a comeback along with their football team sometime in the next couple of years.

Bill & Joe – Double drums at Vineyard Anaheim

This is my buddy Joe Randeen and my father-in-law Bill Dragoo rocking out on double-drums before the Thursday night session of the EQUP youth conference at Vineyard Anaheim. I get to play with these cats tomorrow night and think I’ll need to bring two guitar amps to keep up with the drum-onslaught!

So proud of my wife

My wife, Melisa, is heading out this weekend to lead worship for the Live Oak Vineyard worship retreat. I’m so proud of her for how she’s grown into such a great worship leader, and what a heart she has to worship the Lord and make His name famous.

She’s been leading worship for about three years now from keyboard, and for about four years in total. She’s got a gift for finding songs that are in tune with the heartbeat of God, and she’s even written a couple great songs that we use at Live Oak a lot.

Please pray for my wife and her team, and the ladies at the retreat that they would have a wonderful time with the Lord, and with each other.
